Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, half full Eyes Next-Level Growth

PROVIDENCE, RI – January 15, 2025

Since its inception in 2005, half full, llc, has helped companies and individuals overcome obstacles in the way of moving forward through its experiential, immersive leadership and workforce development offerings. Today marks half full’s 20th anniversary and, with it, two decades of partnering with teams across the globe to help them reach breakthrough moments.

“Twenty years ago, we entered this space with a disruptive belief that leading with vulnerability was essential,” says Rebecca Twitchell, half full, Founder/President. “At the time, not all leaders were ready for that message. But we prioritized our north star, modeled that belief through our facilitation approaches, and walked alongside our clients as their belief about what was possible expanded. We knew early on that our approach would have a lasting impact.”

“Today, as we celebrate our anniversary, we’re reminded that the workplace remains in deep need for people first, authentically rooted cultures. This commitment improves workplace culture, retention, and recruitment,” Twitchell adds. “In many ways, I attribute our success to staying true to our values and leading with what we call ‘not-your-average’ facilitation to help teams reach their full potential together.”

As it looks ahead to its next chapter, half full is coming off the heels of a banner 2024 that included sizeable expansion across a number of areas including:

  • Surpassing its five-year growth plan by 37%, and continuing to see a rise in industries served in technology, financial, health services, construction, social services and higher education

  • Growing the depth and hyper-specialization of its facilitation and training team, powered by  half full’s acquisition of Advancing Workplace Excellence (AWE), the addition of core team members, and the launch of its Flex Facilitator model

  • Expanding program impact by adding global service offerings to support hybrid teams, doubling down on skills development for emerging leaders, empowering teams to have courageous conversations, and helping teams embed DEIB in the DNA of their organization, among other areas

  • Extending the reach of its social impact “full” side of the business — from donating more than $35,000 to nonprofits and Youth Forwards through programs and in-kind services to providing hundreds of volunteer hours in and on community

In looking ahead to its 20th year, half full has its eyes on continued growth. Priority areas include the launch of signature workplace development programs, global-first social impact initiatives, continual job creation, and open enrollment events  The first of which kicks off February 21-23, 2025, with the half full’s Women's Forward, "Rediscovering Your Inner and Outer Beauty,” an intimate, experiential retreat for participants to embrace their inner strengths.

“In 2025, our theme is growth and that growth will happen in all ways — from the ‘half’ side where we will continue our connections with clients on a global scale to the ‘full’ side where we will be able to give back more,” says Twitchell. “Because of the space we’re in, in many ways, it feels like we’re just beginning. The macro continues to present new pressures for today’s leaders, and our job is to ensure our clients are prepared to continue to thrive, reach unique milestones, and prioritize having a little fun along the way!”

“This is our year of celebration and we can’t wait to do so right alongside everyone who made this milestone possible, and everyone we’ve yet to meet who will be a part of our next chapter,” she adds. “It’s going to be an epic 2025!”
